Life offers a broad variety of challenges. Through accidents, diseases or congenital handicaps some people are forced to completely reorganize their life and to adopt it to this new condition. We want to support these people to manage their lives which is so much influenced by the ability of reading.

Being able to read means so much more than just picking up letters of a text. Reading means also picking up information, being informed, being independent, being updated, etc. Reading can also be a fascinating leisure activity, e.g. when reading individually books, newspapers, magazines. Learning is also mostly based on the ability of reading. Keeping soul and spirit alive is another important impact of reading. Browsing through the Internet, learning at school, studying at university, being integrated into the working process, etc. everything is dependent on the ability of reading! There are thousand more important things that are influenced by the ability of reading. Life is just more balanced, comfortable, independent, individual when someone is able to read and thus participating in all of these activities that make life interesting and fulfilled.

But what, if someone is not able to read by means of his eyes only? It certainly does not mean that live is over now and less interesting!

Most of the people with eye deficiencies still carry enough potential of vision in themselves. This deficiency can mostly be easily compensated by Assistive Technology, such as opto-electronic magnifiers or stationairy reading systems.

None of all these innovations can truly replace healthy eyes. Quality of a product compensates eye deficiencies in an effective way.

Since 1971 innovative reading systems and vocal systems

Reinecker Reha-Technik is world wide recognized as the cutting-edge and the leader in innovation and quality of the low vision industry. Not only the world wide first video magnifier, offered to public had been manufactured by Reinecker Reha-Technik. Many more important innovations were offered to public first by Reinecker Reha-Technik: The first low-radiation system (Videomatic Ec MPRII), the first portable system (Maxlupe), the first flat-screen system (lupo), the first full LVHD (Low Vision High Definition) system (topolino capo), the first laptop or personal computer connected camera system in real time display LAN (topolino click), etc, was developped, engineered and manufactured by Reinecker Reha-Technik. Founded in 1971 by Bernd Reinecker, the company is family owned and now run successfully in the second generation. Development and production is in Germany. Based on this, we assure quality and engineering "Made in Germany"!

Since more than 35 years, my Dad established something, that facilitate the everyday life of people with special needs in vision and their families enormously. Through the engineering progress, we develop constantly innovative and state of the art reading systems, influenced by the newest technologies and ergonomic demands of our customers. All that for giving back a part on quality of life to our customers. We are specialized in the development and production of innovative reading systems with the objective to optimize our customers own ability of reading and thus offering customized solutions based on the individual demands of our customers.“
